Parametric Prostate MRI with DynaCAD
Parametric Prostate MRI protocol combined with DynaCAD offers a truly new imaging option for many patients with elevated and/or rising PSA levels. DynaCAD for Prostate is a powerful, easy-to-navigate digital imaging system, which allows physicians to perform real-time, comprehensive analyses of prostate MRI studies. After a patient has undergone a prostate MRI, DynaCAD for Prostate will allow our physicians to quickly process and manage large volumes of prostate images. This technology then allows physicians to synchronize patient studies for easy review while providing complete, extensive summary reports that highlight all crucial aspects of the study, and communicate study results to patients in an effective and timely manner.
DynaCAD for Prostate technology, gives the urologists, oncologists and radiologists the ability to offer their patients an alternative to remaining in an uncertain state of diagnosis after a prostate exam. Other than skin cancer, prostate cancer has become the most common form of cancer in American men and the second-leading cause of cancer death in this population. As 1 man in 6 will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime,* Tower Radiology Center’s introduction of parametric imaging and DynaCAD for Prostate imaging could not have come at a more opportune time.
“We are confident that this new protocol and technology will bring new hope to patients and new coid
ence to our healthcare providers, a positive development coinciding with rising prostate cancer levels,” explains Raj Kedar, MD, USF Associate Professor, Director of Body Imaging and Fellowship Program.
